Phillip Schurfeld (1855-1909) married Anna Kollmeyer (1859-1893). Phillip was Peter and Hannah's first son. He was born in Germany and traveled here with them as a small boy. He married Anna Kollmeyer and they had four children. Anna, their young daughter Amelia and their infant son John died in 1893, leaving Phillip and his two sons, Frank and Fred. There were no further descendants.
