Donna married Ralph A. Lewis on Aug. 9, 1950, and raised a family of six children at 2207 Spruce. Ralph, a longtime English teacher at Quincy High School and announcer for WTAD radio and KHQA-TV, died on Sept. 14, 2007.

Ralph was the brother of John Lewis. Jeanette and Donna's children are double cousins, as these sisters married brothers.
